Volunteers at Ladybarn Park

Red Rose Forest would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that got involved in the tree planting events in Ladybarn Park last week.

There were green fingers and blue noses as volunteers planted trees, pruned branches and cleared litter over three days. Local residents, students, community groups and Barclays staff all braved the cold to really make a difference.

This is the first of many events over the coming months that will plant additional trees and woodlands as part of The Big Tree Plant, the Government’s new campaign to plant 1 million trees.

And of course we need your help to make this happen! See our volunteering events below to see how you can get involved.
